Monday lost in translation

Prometheus was not a promise but a fate

Stealing the god’s fire to give it to humans

A generous intention for which we now bear the consequences

As a punishment the rogue Titan was chained to a mountain

And his ever growing liver devoured daily by winged creatures

Ancient Greek medical sciences lent to the liver what our today’s legends lend to the heart

Sciences and mythologies evolve hand in hand so does faith in our erring certainties

‘State of the art’ is the combination of two words which do not imply truth or reality
