The sky goes striped at the Hyde Park edge
The Knightsbridge Barracks tower stretches
As if would like to dress its dull concrete body
In a Roman Senators’ purple torn from the sunset sky
Towers are like humans dreaming of some unattainable glory
Heroes at the Romus and Remulus nascent Empire times
Learnt at their own expense that the Tarpeian Rock is next to the Capitol
