The Forbidden Fruit

Window dressing allegory under London Lockdown frenzy in the twenties
Double dip under the yoke of global prohibitions
The seed of the forbidden fruit exposed
Paradise lost and locked under the fear of immortality
Guarded by two formidable yet smiling cherubs
All mythologies meet at the gates like the barbarians
The Golden apple stolen from the Hesperides Garden
By Eris, Greek Goddess of Discord
And the other apple from the Garden of Eden
Stolen by Lilith under the guise of a serpent
The myth hits reality under the spell of the years stolen from us
By a bunch of fear- mongering spineless Narcissistic ‘leaders’
